Welcome to my humble page! My name is Eric Weichhart, and I do things on the Internet.
About myself, I'm a system analyst from Argentina that ended being a video editor instead of working with computers. Despite life's uncertainty, I think I ended doing the right choice.
I don't update this website often, but feel free to reach me anytime on social media!
I currently work at Second Wind Group as a video editor and community manager, being part of the team since its foundation back in November 2023.
Sometimes, I also do some video editing for NAMI TENTOU, where I have made trailers for several titles. You should check these out!
I may also do some freelancer stuff, but it is rarely and not worth mentioning.
In August 2014, I started as a humble image editor for a website called Nintendo Enthusiast for articles and video thumbnails. With time, the website grew to a company called Enthusiast Gaming, and in my case, I started doing more tasks such as video editing and moderation.
My works were on sites such as Daily eSports, Destructoid, Enthusiast.GG, Gamnesia, PC Enthusiast, PlayStation Enthusiast, Siliconera, The Sims Resource, Upcomer and Xbox Enthusiast.
Around the year 2020, I co-produced two seaons of a show called Do You Think You Can Stream for Destructoid, and a pilot episode of Bits X Bits for Luminosity Gaming. I also assisted as a main moderator for some events for the latter on Twitch, and assisted in a few events as well.
In October 2022, several of these websites were sold to GAMURS Group, and became my new place of work in what I personally consider a very clumsy adquisition. During this period, a few additional websites were added to my portafolio, but mostly Prima Games and The Mary Sue.
My time came to an end on November 2024, when I decided to quit with the The Escapist's video team and calling Second Wind Group my new home.
Unfortunately, most of these projects are now lost media. Websites got merged, my four years at Destructoid.TV are mostly gone, content got deleted, and bad planning from lack of communication. The only proof that I once existed is whatever is in Internet Archive and the project files during these years.
During the years, I did many things on the side including a few projects with folks I was working at the time.
I personally don't think it is worth mentioning everything, as some websites and channels are no longer available, but at least I can share a few:
